The Punisher vs. Maxwell Lord

Maxwell LordA few times Micro tried to test Punisher’s abilities to toughen him up for his next mission. Sometimes he pushed Punisher way too far to where Punisher goes on the verge of turning himself against Micro and punish him severely for dissing him. Case in point: The time when Punisher vowed to kill Micro for leaving him at the mercy of an army of soldier bots that were programmed to destroy anyone who sides with the Justice League. Even Frank. Frank destroyed the robots and begin to hunt down and punish Micro for betraying him. Punisher tracks Micro to a corporate building and went inside to find Micro under the control of Maxwell Lord IV, a metahuman who admits to using his special mind controlling abilities to control Micro’s mind and use him to manufacture an army of specialized robots to help Max destroy the Justice League and rule the world.
Realizing that this wasn’t Micro’s fault after all, Punisher decides to target Max and demands him to free Micro from his mind control or else he’ll kill him. “How about I send Micro out to kill you instead?” said Max who instantly sics Micro on Frank. Micro points his glock at Frank and was about to pull the trigger when Frank quickly knocks him out with tear gas and aims his uzi at Max. In desperation, Max tries to seize control of Frank’s mind and orders him to kill his former friend and go after Wonder Woman whom Max accuses of murdering Steve Trevor, her soulmate, while in a state of madness brought on by Hera, the Goddess and wife of Zeus.
Maxwell Lord has the ability to seize control over the minds of everyone and subject them to his will… everyone that is except for one man– The Punisher! Maxwell tries to seize control of Frank’s mind and orders him to kill both Micro for his betrayal and Wonder Woman for Steve’s murder. But it was a dismal failure. Maxwell is unaware that Frank’s mind and conscience has been highly trained to resist all sorts of telepathic, mind controlling attacks against him, including Maxwell’s. Realizing that he can never control Frank’s mind, Maxwell took off running as fast as he can, blowing his bloody nose with a handkerchief as he desperately tries to get away from the vengeful vigilante before Frank fills Max’s mind full of lead; The Punisher is much too smart for Maxwell’s mind games. Besides, thanks to Wonder Woman, Steve is alive and well. He’s recovering at a nearby hospital from Max’s failed attempt to kill him and frame Wonder Woman for the crime. As for Micro and Frank, their friendship is still intact.
