My newest Punisher Harp Art is now out! When Jonny, as The Punisher, plays the harp, he sings, “One Batch. Two Batch. Penny and Dime.” A song he made up based on his moving speech he gave to Red at the cemetery, and his daughter’s favorite book he used to read to her every night before he was called into service in Iraq. Every time he plays the harp when he’s on break from killing criminals, he will play that song, along with many other songs he plays on the harp, in memory of his daughter who was killed along with his wife and younger son at the carousel area of Central Park.
There’s a petition going out that you must sign now to demand Marvel and Netflix to create a solo Punisher series with Jon Bernthal in his starring role. Boy, did Jon stole the spotlight away from Red in Daredevil Season 2! He deserves to have his own stand-alone series. You know with The Emmy Awards months away (September 18th to be exact), Jon could easily net a trophy or two, maybe three, for his Emmy styled performance in Daredevil Season 2. That’s what everybody’s hoping and praying for.
Sherry Konkus lives in Owosso, MI. She is the proud owner of the Camac Athena EX Concert Grand Harp named “Grover” and Camac Mademoiselle named “Ernie.” She’s also the proud author of The Punisher Harp Zone. Sherry is the one who came up with the idea of portraying The Punisher from Marvel Comics as the punishing harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family who was killed by the mob years ago.
