Mitch Gerads (@MitchGerads) is an awesome comic book artist behind the incredible Punisher art that grace the pages of all 20 issues of the Edmondson Punisher run and is also the illustrator of The Activity from Image Comics and The Sheriff of Babylon for Vertigo Comics. When Mitch made his Punisher art, he had Punisher dressed up as a hooded military soldier armed with very real style weapons no different than the weapons the military uses in our world.
We’ve seen The Punisher fought like this:
But when was the last time you saw Mitch’s version of The Punisher do this?
Here is The Punisher in all of his combat glory strumming his beloved WarHarp (redone to entirely resemble a M1911 pistol) before he dives into combat against Muslim terrorists in the Middle East.
Sherry Konkus lives in Owosso, MI. She is the proud owner of the Camac Athena EX Concert Grand Harp named “Grover” and Camac Mademoiselle named “Ernie.” She’s also the proud author of The Punisher Harp Zone. Sherry is the one who came up with the idea of portraying The Punisher from Marvel Comics as the punishing harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family who was killed by the mob years ago.
