This is part of the Marvel Comics’ July solicits that has just been released today. Yes, this is part 2 of “The Last Days of The Punisher.” Yes, this is Punisher #20, the final issue of Nathan Edmondson’s Punisher run. No, I don’t want to see The Punisher character to end, like lose his life and be gone for good. I want Punisher alive! In fact, when Secret Wars end, I want to see Marvel Comics do another Punisher run, hopefully with Mitch Gerads’ doing all the artwork. His artistry is incredible! I may want to have the main Marvel heroes find a way to restore all of the Marvel Universes to what it once was before The Beyonders brought on the Incursion, Collision, and eventually BattleWorld first. Perhaps go back into time and successfully change the coarse of history for the better once they find a way to do it so that the Incursion, Collision and BattleWorld would’ve never happened.
Then Marvel can bring on a new Punisher storyline for the Fall and Winter seasons and beyond. Maybe do a major Punisher storyline that will affect all of the Marvel Universe like what World War Hulk have done. Or do a Punisher/ Batman crossover storyline that’s just as major as Convergence is. That would be something to see if DC and Marvel would like to do it. Or do a storyline based on my concept where Frank is portrayed as a harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family and punish criminals– like this!
I posted this before, but I want to post this again. This is an early fanart I made of Frank shooting arrows at a criminal target using WarHarp as an archer’s bow. May have to do a remake of this fanart. Even create a new fanart where Frank uses his other harp to do the same thing as WarHarp.
Sherry Konkus lives in Owosso, MI. She is the proud owner of the Camac Athena EX Concert Grand Harp named “Grover” and Camac Mademoiselle named “Ernie.” She’s also the proud author of The Punisher Harp Zone. Sherry is the one who came up with the idea of portraying The Punisher from Marvel Comics as the punishing harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family who was killed by the mob years ago.
