Because of the guitar scene that was first shown in The Punisher footage at last night’s Defenders Panel at #SDCC, I got so pumped up that I took one my The Punisher Harp Zone logos and modified it to fit in with the fact that Punisher will be playing guitar in the upcoming Netflix series in November. And now this site will be known as The Punisher Harp (,n Guitar) Zone.
I plan to incorporate this new guitar concept into my own Punisher Harp concept so that I can have Frank play both the harp and the guitar. To me Frank Castle will always be a harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family. And what’s wrong with having Frank play more than one instrument? In Daredevil Season 2, there was a family piano found in Frank’s old home. That’s where Lisa, Frank’s favorite daughter, practiced music on besides the guitar. Perhaps Frank used to play on that piano, too, alongside the guitar which he used to teach his daughter how to play the guitar. He still plays the guitar, but only in her memory.
It would be awesome to see Frank actually playing the harp in a future Punisher episode, ultimately becoming The Punishing Harpist who plays harp music in his family’s memory as well as guitar music. In Season 2 perhaps we’ll see.

She is the proud owner of the Camac Athena EX Concert Grand Harp named “Grover” and Camac Mademoiselle named “Ernie.” She’s also the proud author of The Punisher Harp Zone. Sherry is the one who came up with the idea of portraying The Punisher from Marvel Comics as the punishing harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family who was killed by the mob years ago.
