I hate Deadpool. Plain and simple. Punisher hates Deadpool, too. But how can you permanently destroy a merc who can rejuvenate himself after he gets shot, cut up, cremated, even eaten? This April, in the upcoming comic Deadpool vs. The Punisher, Punisher is going to have to find a way to permanently destroy Wilson Wade who will challenge Frank to battle each other over the fate of his close friend who calls himself The Bank whom Frank wants destroyed.
“They do not like each other, particularly from their [Thunderbolts] days on the same team together. Wade thinks Frank is a stick in the mud while Frank thinks Wade’s healing factor has made him loud, sloppy and useless,” Van Lente explained. “It’s a real peanut-butter-in-chocolate situation, and you take that compare/contrast and run with it. You put Deadpool in a gritty crime story and Frank in this kind of insane, manic world where Deadpool’s adventures take place, and you let them try and shoot their way out of it—and at each other!”
Like I said, I hate Deadpool! It seems so unfair when there is too much of Wilson and too little of Frank in every part of the Marvel franchise! I hope it will change when The solo Punisher series premieres on Netflix later on this year. We need to see Punisher get ranked the highest among the greatest comic book characters ever known! Right up there with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Spider-man, Captain America, and The Hulk.
