Marvel's The Punisher — A Masterpiece!!

The Real Punisher!
I bet you know what this promo remind you of comic book cover wise.

Warning! Spoilers ahead!
Forget the comics.
Forget the films.
Forget everything you know about The Punisher.
‘Cause on Friday, November 17th, 2017, Marvel released on Netflix a masterpiece!
A grand masterpiece in high quality Marvel-style entertainment that needs no introduction. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Marvel’s The Punisher!

Jon Bernthal, who played Frank Castle (aka Pete Castiglione), once again proved to everyone that he is The True Punisher! No question about it, he nailed it! He perfected the image of Frank Castle and turned this entire series into a show of epic proportions. So did the entire cast and crew of The Punisher who created what I highly regard as a masterpiece of pure action/thriller gold. There are no words that can ever do justice to describe what a spectacular job the cast and crew of The Punisher has done to created this Emmy award worthy show.
But when I saw the latest promo video that revealed a split second glimpse of Dinah Medani and Billy Russo engaging in yucky sex in their “birthday suits,” I became highly alarmed and very uneasy about seeing all of Punisher Season 1. The scene where Billy and Dinah kiss and kiss in their birthday suits is exactly what I feared and dread seeing when I posted concerns about the show a few months back. Unlike some people, I don’t like to watch such scenes. Those sex scenes from Punisher are no different than the sex scenes played out in The Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead.
I would’ve had a easy time watching Punisher if it weren’t for those sex scenes. But now I can’t decide whether to entirely skip “The Judas Goat” and “Crosshairs” episodes containing the 2 sex scenes or just skip the sex scenes and get on with Frank, Micro, and Karen scenes within those 2 episodes. I didn’t want to look at the spoiler articles, but the sex scenes compelled me to go looking for spoiler articles on Tumblr to discover which episode has those sex scenes. That’s how I found out that “The Judas Goat” and “Crosshairs” are the infamous episodes that contain such scenes.
Seeing scenes of criminals getting sledgehammered, necks snapped, innards spilled out of their abdomens and a certain vigilante getting tortured by a megalomaniac who was eventually destroyed by his former stooge and victim and no one bats an eye. Seeing scenes of Billy, The Judas Goat, and Dinah kiss and kiss naked and everyone looses their minds!
Seriously, people. The show does contains nudity, but certain private parts, like the nipples of Dinah’s breasts, are not shown– at least according to one FB user who actually saw all 13 episodes of Punisher and loved every bit of it.
Nevertheless, thus far, I’ve seen the first two episodes of Punisher and already I am very captivated by it. This is a Marvel show like no other. A show without super powered heroes and villains, magical beings and objects, fantasy worlds and monsters, talking trees, raccoons and ducks, mutants and inhumans, cloned dinosaurs, magic dragons, and special runaway children, no devils, no ninjas, no powerhouse blacks, flaming fists, or super women. You will see none of these things occurring in Punisher.
Instead, you will see a world grounded in reality, and a lone vigilante suffering from PTSD he got from witnessing the murder of his family and while serving in Kandahar where he was duped by Agent Orange Mickey Rawlins into serving as one of his stooges assigned to capture and murder those who blew the whistle on Rawlins’s heroin smuggling operations, believing them to be traitors and criminals to the US. In fact, Rawlins forced Frank to shoot an innocent man that was captured and tortured for blowing a whistle on Rawlins’ illegal operations. Frank, realizing what he did, instantly flew into a rage and gouged out Rawlins’ right eye, vowing to kill him for setting him up.
Frank felt so ashamed and remorseful of what he have done as a unwitting hooded stooge that he vowed to never wear a mask again; everything he did wrong was done underneath a mask he wore when he was once an unwitting stooge for Rawlins.
Later in “Home,” Rawlins encountered Frank once more and tortured him severely until Punisher managed to break free with the help from Billy and severely gave Rawlins the ultimate punishment of death for ruining his life and setting him and his family up for the fall. No bloody wounds Frank got from being tortured can stop him from destroying Rawlins.
Thanks to Micro who donated his blood to save Frank’s life, Frank recovered long enough to engage in the final battle of the season against his traitorous friend, Billy who will later become the villainous Jigsaw in Season 2.
I could tell you more about what has gone on in Punisher, but I think I’ll save it for another day. Instead I’ll go write a post about a certain special scene that has brought a big smile to my face and exceeded all my expectations of what I want for The More Sweetest Punisher Scene on Earth.
