When I was working on my latest Punisher Harp Art with a touch of guitar, I intended for my art to be made in a traditional way with pencils, pens, crayons, and markers. Unfortunately it didn’t work out because the thin markers I used to outline the image were creating thick lines that smeared out the small facial details of Jon Bernthal/Frank and ruined everything. Thankfully before the mistake was made I manage to scanned the penciled version of the art to my PC and used Photoshop to finish creating the image to be the way I wanted it to be.
I didn’t threw the drawing away. I kept it instead and fixed the facial area by printed the penciled copy of the image, cut out the face, outlined it with a different pen, and glued it over the flawed area to covered up the mistake. Then I colored the image with markers, crayons and colored pencils.
Here’s the original version of the harp art done in crayons, pencils, and markers.
And now the Photoshop version of the image that I posted previously before.
I hope you all like my work. I’ll be creating more art like this for you to enjoy as we all wait patiently for The Punisher series to premiere on Netflix.
