The Marvel Heroes have a bone to pick with Frank. He was entrusted with the War Machine armor by Nick Fury Jr. for one special mission. To free a failed state in the Middle East from an oppressive regime. But unlike Roady Rhodes, Frank did a lot of killings that the heroes and the US government regard as unethical. This made the government and the heroes wish that Roady was alive so he can use the armor suit to complete the mission without taking lives. Roady was killed in one storyline awhile back. So, Nick Fury Jr., had Frank take Roady’s place and use the War Machine armor to do the rescue mission.
Although Frank succeeds in his mission and returns home to the US, Frank ends up facing an unwelcoming army of irate Marvel Heroes who strongly disapproved his misusing of the armor and dishonoring Roady’s name. This forces Frank to make like Tom and Jerry and try to outwit the superpowered heroes in the upcoming Punisher #225 comic. Written by Matthew Rosenberg; illustrated by Guiu Vilanova, coming to comic book stores everywhere May 30th.
